Sommelier## Job SummaryWe are seeking a knowledgeable and passionate Sommelier to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of wines and excellent customer service skills to enhance the dining experience for our guests. ## Duties- Assist customers in selecting wines that complement their meals- Provide detailed information about wines on the menu- Maintain and update the wine list regularly- Collaborate with chefs to create wine pairings for special events or menus- Train staff on wine service and knowledge- Ensure proper storage and handling of wines- Monitor inventory levels and place orders as needed ## Requirements- Experience in the food industry, preferably in fine dining establishments- Strong knowledge of different types of wines and regions- Ability to upsell and recommend wine pairings- Familiarity with menu planning and meal preparation- Excellent communication and customer service skills- Certification or training in sommelier studies is a plus
